On 1st January 2016, Oheneyere launched her project AWO DANSOA READING PROJECT. AWO DANSOA is a stool name given to her by her husband, who is the Chief of Akwamu Adumasa in the Eastern region of Ghana, and his kinsmen and women when he married her in October 2015.
The AWO DANSOA Reading Project is aimed at collecting books from friends, loved ones and other individuals for children between the ages of 3 and 14 in her husband's traditional area.
Currently, the project has established a functioning library at Akwamu Adumasa, in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region
She hopes to go there with friends every now and then, at least once a month, to read to and with the children.
Oheneyere Dr. Gifty Anti hopes to extend the project to the whole of Akwamu Traditional area and hopefully the whole of Ghana in the near future
